Baladi cow ghee (samna) — 500 g

Baladi cow ghee in a 500 g tub: lighter than the buffalo version, gentler in aroma, golden in colour — the one for everyday cooking that does not cover the other ingredients. A good size for a small household, or if you use it in baking more than in cooking: basbousa, ghorayeba, fiteer. Keep it sealed in a dry place away from sun, or refrigerated in hot weather. Use a clean dry spoon each time. Also sold by the kilo, and alongside buffalo samna if you want a stronger aroma.
