Marjoram honey — 500 g

Marjoram honey, from marjoram blossom: less common than clover or citrus, slightly darker, with a distinctly herbal aroma and a depth that ordinary sweet honey does not have. Eaten by the spoon or on bread, stirred into warm and herbal drinks, and preferred over everyday honey by people who come for the aroma. If you are tasting your way through honeys, this is one of the more distinctive. Keep it sealed in a dry place away from sun; no refrigeration needed. Crystallising or setting is normal in natural honey, and warm water around the jar brings it back. Sidr, citrus, clover and honeycomb are also available.
